Day 24

Our last day in London, and Ruth dragged me off for a culture injection...to the Tate Modern. It was rather interesting if I'm honest and they had the best audio guides yet, palm pilots with video and the works. Get this, I even recognised some names...Monet, Picasso and Warhol, plus a whole bunch of others that I didn't which were ok too. For the record I believe Jackson Pollock aka Jack the dripper should be renamed Jackson Bollocks. Everyones an art critic. After this we caught up with an old flattie Mo, for lunch. London was having one of it's four seasons in one day days so we ate in the sunshine outside and drank inside while it pee'd down. It was good to catch up with the little Mexican too. We then headed out to catch up with Ruth's ex-workmate Luke over a few jars at some place two stops up from Kilburn Park. This went on and on and turned into a real session with AD and Rach turning up after work. Being a dodgy area Rach did not agree with my great idea to walk home so we caught the tube.

The UK was a great time especially catching up with people, the history, Anfield, the pub culture, though I think Ruth and I can both agree a nice place to visit but would seem a bit full on to live in.

Much love to AD and Rach for the use of their lounge, their London tips and tricks, taking us to places we may not have considered (e.g. Slough) and their generosity. See yous later in the year with your brand new dining suite!
